Job: General Shop Labourer

A Sherwood Park, AB Renovations Company is looking for a general shop laborer to work on site as well as on customer sites.  Their primary responsibilities will be to assist tradesmen as well as provide assistance in the shop.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  This position may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials and using a variety of tools and machines, such as forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment, etc. The successful candidate will help carpenters and other specialized employees/contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:  The successful candidate must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance, and be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.

While there are no minimum educational requirements for this position, those who have specialized skills have the best opportunities.   A valid drivers license and a clean DA is essential.
