POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing all general bookkeeping duties including keeping record books, preparing invoices, writing checks, making bank deposits, checking bank statements and performing bank reconciliations, payroll, and tax payment installments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Monthly remittances and government taxes
- Monthly reconciliations
- Answering related questions and inquiries
- Filing
- Some general administrative duties
JOB INFORMATION:
This company requires an organized individual who pays attention to detail and is able to work alone.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree an asset
- Minimum of 5 years Bookkeeping experience.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks/Simply Accounting
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Strong organizational, prioritization skills; attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of Payroll experience
- Excellent computer skills (Windows environment, including full MS Office Suite – Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, and Power Point)
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a pleasant disposition
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
